Meet Megan and Coal

Meet Megan & Coal

In the past, Megan has worked as a teacher, an administrator, and a dog trainer to name just a few, but she will tell you her favorite (and toughest) job title is Mom. She has 2 grown boys, 2 granddaughters, her wonderful husband of 28 years, and all the dogs, goats, and assorted poultry she can sneak onto their homestead. Coal is Megan’s fully-fledged service dog and “bark-time” office assistant.  He has been studying all his life to become a service dog. He has basic obedience and task training down! He can perform medical alert, medical response, deep pressure therapy, retrievals, and light mobility work. Though he is still working out the last of his puppyhood.
